Welcome to my new website,I will be upgrading the pages in the next few  weeks Ray.

Information

                  Ray and Debby have lived and worked in Tenerife for 10 years.

Ray has been a professional singer for many years and his talent has taken him all all over europe.

He first started singing country music when he was just 14 years old and was very much influenced by the music of The Beatles and Jim Reeves. He was brought up in Whitby North Yorkshire.

Ray became popular doing the pubs and clubs all over Yorkshire, but as he became more and more popular throughout England he then went on to do many international tours.

Ray had his first professional band (The Harbour Lights) when he was 16 years old and together they toured England.

Ray went solo when he was 18 years old and travelled Europe, with many successful tours playing in front of enthusiastic crowds in Germany, Holland, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland.

During his career, ray has worked with many established and successful acts, including Stan Boardman, Bucks Fizz, Marmalade, Carl Denver and Jim Bowen.

Ray also won the command performance for singer of the year in 1988.

Debby, Ray's wife, only turned professional when they moved to Tenerife 10 years ago. Debby did sing in England on some of Ray's shows and also taught line dancing.

Debby too, also travelled with ray to switzerland on a number of occasions, where they did duo work.

Ray and Debby can now be found in the Mio Restaurant And Bar, Next to Lucy 1 on the main Rd, from Acapulco, Just Past Steak House.

Dear friends, we have left Acapulco And wish the two Julios good luck  in the future, The reason we had to close is becouse the local council said that they had to make many changes, eg Electrics and kitchen. we thank them for the years we have worked there. And most of all the friends we have made. I hope you will continue to support us. so that we can still see our many friends. We went to Los Cristianos and got many emails to say we were too far out, Sorry. The mio Bar is below Acapulco 50 yds below steak house on right hand side next to Lucy 1.   Thank you for your support. We will try and get back the atmosphere we had at the Acapulco. The bar is very pleasant inside and thier is a dance floor.  As it is new please give us time to ajust. The Beer is cheaper and is Fosters and Dorado Estrella. Tom Has passed away on the 28-01-2008. An End of an era. He was the Icon of Tenerife and will be sadly missed by his fans and friends. He died of cancer but worked very hard until sadly was unable to continue any longer.Tom was 78 years old.You can still buy his cds at the Mio Bar across from the Steakhouse
